Daisy Yang (2012)

Daisy Yang

Daisy graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree in 2011, majoring in accounting. Her honours thesis examined existing not-for-profit performance management and reporting practices, using semi-structured interviews and document analysis. Based on the empirical evidence collected during the interview process, the thesis sought to test the applicability of Intellectual Capital as a strategic management framework in the not-for-profit context.

Prior to working at the AASB, Daisy worked as a Management Accounting tutor at Queensland University of Technology.

At the AASB, Daisy is working on several projects including:
- Superannuation Entities
- GAAP/GFS Harmonisation
- Control in the NFP Sector
- Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements
- Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities

After completing the AASB Graduate Program, Daisy accepted a position within RSM National Technical Division, in their Sydney office.  In 2016 Daisy joined the technical staff team at the IFRS foundation and later become an Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting Advisor at Mazars UK.
