Raymond Yu (2007)

Raymond Yu

Raymond completed his Honours degree at the Australian National University (ANU) in 2006, majoring in Accounting and Finance. His Honours thesis examined the book–tax income gap and the effective tax rates of corporate Australia for a period of 11 years – 1994 to 2004.

Prior to his position at AASB, Raymond worked in the ANU as a tutor for Principles of Taxation Law and has working experience in various companies which include KPMG and SingTel.

As a Graduate Intern at the AASB, Raymond worked on a range of projects. These included taxation of financial assets, investment property, leases, extractive activities and Australia/New Zealand not-for-profit convergence.

Raymond accepted a permanent position with the AASB and is continuing his CA studies.

In his free time, Raymond likes going to the gym and playing soccer.
