Ting Lin (2011)

Ting Lin

Ting completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree at The University of Melbourne in 2009 with double majors in Accounting and Finance. She was awarded the Dean’s Award 2010 and a scholarship by the University for her Honours year, which she completed in 2010.

Her honours thesis sought to theorize, from a transaction cost economics perspective, the embeddedness of sustainability into capital budgeting practices conducted by Australian corporations.

At the AASB, Ting is working on a range of projects, including:

- GAAP/GFS harmonization: entities within the general government sectors
- Internally generated intangible assets
- Post-employment benefits

After completing the AASB Graduate Program, Ting accepted a position at the Department of Treasury and Finance, Victoria. Currently she is the Senior Grants Manager - Budget & Grants Management at Department of Treasury and Finance.
