Liza Maimone

Director

Liza Maimone has more than 30 years of professional experience providing advisory and assurance services to senior management and Boards in the areas of strategic and operational risk management, governance, sustainability and climate change across a range of industry sectors. 

Liza is a Non-Executive Director of Engineers Australia and Chair of the People & Governance Committee. Liza is Chair of the Integrity and Standards Committee of Accounting for Nature, and an Advisory Board Member of Triple Eight Capital. She also serves as a Director of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and is a member of the Finance Committee. 

From 2020 to 2024, Liza was Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Sustainability Executive at PwC Australia. She also served as a Director of PwC's ASEANZ Consulting Pty Ltd (Chair from 2023) and was a member of several global committees. Previously, Liza was Managing Partner of PwC’s Consulting business in Australia.  

Liza has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chem)(H1) and a Graduate Diploma (Energy & Resources) Law. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Fellow of Engineers Australia (FIEAust), Engineering Executive (EngExec), Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Engineering and IT, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
