Liza Maimone

Liza is Managing Partner of PwC Australia leading the firm’s sustainability services and offerings to clients. For the last four years, Liza was PwC Australia’s Chief Operating Officer. She was also a director of PwC's ASEANZ Consulting Pty Ltd, the firm’s regional consulting business. Prior to that Liza was the Managing Partner of PwC Australia’s consulting practice. Liza has also served on several PwC global boards and committees and PwC Australia's Executive. 

In addition, Liza is Chair of the ESG Working Group for the Australian Public Policy Commission, a Director of Engineers Australia and Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee, director of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and advisory member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s Finance Committee. 

Liza has 30 years of professional experience providing advisory and assurance services to senior management and Boards in the areas of strategic and operational risk management, governance, sustainability and climate change across a range of industry sectors. 

Liza is a chemical engineer with post graduate qualifications in Energy & Resources law. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne Faculty of Engineering and IT, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
