Liza Maimone

Liza Maimone has 30 years of professional experience providing advisory and assurance services to senior management and Boards in the areas of strategic and operational risk management, governance, sustainability and climate change across a range of industry sectors.

For the last four years, Liza was Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Sustainability Executive of PwC Australia. Liza was also a Director of PwC's ASEANZ Consulting Pty Ltd (regional consulting business), and she served on several PwC global committees. Prior to that, Liza was Managing Partner of the Consulting business in Australia. Liza is a Director of Engineers Australia and the Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee. Liza is also a Director of the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and an Advisory Member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s Finance Committee.

Liza is a chemical engineer with a graduate diploma in Energy & Resources law. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, an Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Engineering and IT, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
