Stephen Taylor is UTS Distinguished Professor of Accounting at the UTS Business School. He has previously been Associate Dean-Research (2009-2015) and in 2016 was the inaugural Australian Business Deans’ Council Research Scholar. His research has been published in leading international accounting and finance journals.
Prior to moving to UTS Stephen held positions at the University of Sydney, the University of Michigan and UNSW. Stephen has served as an expert witness on accounting and valuation issues within Australia and overseas and is a member of the Australian Accounting Hall of Fame. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. Stephen is the AASB Deputy Chair.
