The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) is the Australian Government agency responsible for developing, issuing and maintaining accounting and sustainability reporting standards that apply under Australian company law.
The AASB plays a central role in shaping Australia’s reporting landscape, including climate-related financial disclosure standards that support consistency, comparability, transparency and confidence in Australia’s economy.
We have an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Manager/Senior Manager, Sustainability Reporting to join our Sustainability Reporting team. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to nationally significant work supporting the implementation and ongoing development of sustainability and climate-related financial disclosure in Australia.
The AASB will be merged with the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB) and the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) to form External Reporting Australia from 1 December 2026. The Manager/Senior Manager, Sustainability Reporting role will continue through this merger.
