The AASB is conducting an Agenda Consultation to shape its 2027-2031 Work Plan. This process involves reviewing current projects, considering new topics, and gathering stakeholder input on both domestic and international priorities. The AASB's Agenda Consultation covers all aspects of external reporting including financial reporting and sustainability reporting and the for-profit, not-for-profit and public sectors.

In March 2026, AASB staff will host a series of in-person roundtable events, and we’d value your insights. These sessions are an opportunity to share your views and help influence the direction of our work.

Due to lower-than-expected registration numbers, and the associated costs to run in-person events, we have made the difficult decision to cancel roundtables in Newcastle, Hobart and Geelong. We will instead, be offering a series of virtual drop-in sessions during February and March. Further information on these sessions can be found below.
To ensure all stakeholders have the opportunity to share their views, we are also offering a series of virtual drop‑in sessions throughout February 2026 and March 2026. These informal sessions provide a flexible way to speak directly with AASB staff, ask questions and provide feedback on the 2027–2031 Agenda Consultation.
