AASB Dialogue Series – Making Materiality Judgements in Financial Reporting

What are the lessons learned and challenges of applying the concept of materiality? Join us at the next AASB dialogue series webinar session! This event is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.

The AASB, jointly with CPA Australia and CA ANZ, will hold an AASB Dialogue Series session on Friday, 8 December 2023 (4:00 PM-5:15 PM AEDT) to discuss issues related to making materiality judgements in financial reporting. Researcher Tom Frick (University of Melbourne) will present his research findings. 

This will be followed by a panel discussion with Marina Michaelides (Senior Project Manager at AUASB), Rachel Poo (Head of Group Statutory Reporting & Accounting Policy at QBE), Richard Fakhry (Portfolio Manager at Cromwell Phoenix Opportunities Fund) and Stephen Barley (Head of Accounting Policy and Sustainability Controllership at BHP). The session will be chaired by Dr Eric Lee (Research Director at AASB).
