Australia and Canada to Co-Chair IFASS

We are delighted to announce that Dr Keith Kendall, the Chair of the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB), and Armand Capisciolto, the Chair of Canada’s Accounting Standards Board (AcSB), will take on the mantle of co-Chairs of the International Forum of Accounting Standard Setters at the end of the March 2025 meeting. They will be supported by Charis Halliday, the AASB's Director - International and Katharine Christopoulos, the AcSB's Technical Director, and their broader teams and boards. Both Chairs have signalled they see this as a great opportunity to build on the collaborative nature IFASS provides for encouraging dynamic discussions between national standard setters in this evolving corporate reporting landscape.
