Bilateral Meeting between the Australian Accounting Standards Board and the Korea Accounting Institute was held in Sydney

Members of the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) and the Korea Accounting Institute (KAI) (including the Korea Accounting Standards Board, the Korea Sustainability Standards Board and the Korea Accounting Research Institute) met on 5 November 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

At this meeting members provided updates on their respective activities and exchanged views on the opportunities for cooperation. This productive dialogue builds on the strong relationship between the AASB and KAI across the accounting and sustainability disclosure standards space and associated research.

The AASB and KAI plan to continue to exchange views and where possible work collaboratively to support international standard setting.
