Invitation to Comment ITC49 Post-implementation Review of AASB 1059 Service Concession Arrangements: Grantors

The AASB is seeking feedback from stakeholders to assist its assessment of whether AASB 1059 Service Concession Arrangements: Grantors continues to meet its objectives and could be improved through amendment.

The AASB is undertaking a post-implementation review (PIR) of AASB 1059 and has issued an Invitation to Comment, ITC 49, to seek feedback from stakeholders on whether there are:

• application issues causing divergence in how service concession arrangements are being recognised by public sector entities; and
• emerging issues that were not contemplated when the Standard was developed.

ITC 49 is open for comment until Tuesday 28 February 2023. Please submit your comments to the AASB, via the AASB website or email.
