2025 AASB Research Forum Call for Expressions of Interest

Researchers are invited to submit working papers or research proposals for the 2025 AASB Research Forum. Some suggested topics include:

• Digital corporate reporting
• Machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Forward-looking information
• Goodwill and impairment
• Intangible assets
• Management commentary
• Provisions
• Service performance reporting
• Sustainability reporting

Submissions addressing other matters not listed above will also be considered.

How to submit an expression of interest

In your submission, please provide:

• Paper title
• Names of researchers and institutions they represent
• Synopsis – please submit a maximum of 200 words on each of the following:
  • Research objectives, proposed research questions and methodology
  • The relevance of possible conclusions from the research to inform the AASB’s standard setting activities and its strategic objectives
  • Possible assistance you may require from the AASB (if required)
