Board Meetings

The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) is an independent accounting standard-setter based in Melbourne, Australia.

The Board comprises 12 members, including the Chair. The Chair is appointed by the relevant Minister, and members – from a variety of backgrounds – are appointed by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).

The AASB is committed to developing, in the public interest, a single set of high-quality, understandable accounting standards that require transparent and comparable information in general purpose financial statements.

In this section, you’ll find work programs and documents relating to AASB meetings. Profile information on the AASB Board members can be accessed here.

Earlier Board documents are available under the Prior Board Papers section.
