Senior Manager - Sustainability Reporting

The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Sustainability Reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping Australia's sustainability reporting landscape and offers attractive professional development prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and project manage the development of technical sustainability-related matters related to the AASB’s work program
- Lead stakeholder engagement and outreach activities
- Contribute to ongoing engagement with international and national standard setters
- Manage staff within the AASB's Sustainability Reporting team
- Contribute to the strategic direction of sustainability reporting at the AASB
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years’ technical sustainability experience in a scientific, policy or practical context relating to one (or more) of the following:
- sustainability reporting and/or assurance
- international sustainability disclosure frameworks, guidelines and standards (e.g. ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, SASB, ESRS, etc.)
- GHG measurement and reporting (e.g. GHG Global Protocol)
- sustainability-related policy
- Proven analytical and communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Qualification in accounting/commerce and/or sustainability, science or engineering
