Before joining the AASB in 2018, Kimberley gained extensive experience in professional services firms, where she has spent most of her time in technical accounting roles. Through these roles, Kimberley provided financial reporting and auditing advice to a range of practitioners and entities, including ASX- and NZX-listed entities, private companies, syndicates and not-for-profit entities in Australia and New Zealand. This experience provided Kimberley with a solid understanding of Australian and International Accounting Standards, which has benefited her at the AASB.
Since commencing at the AASB, Kimberley has been involved in domestic projects such as the removal of special purpose financial statements for certain for-profit private sector entities and supporting the AASB’s involvement in various International projects. Kimberley is currently working on various projects, including the post-implementation reviews of many domestic Australian Accounting Standards.
